History

Firstly, we are originally from the “rebel county” having been born and reared in Ballineen.

In Co Cork I have spent the last 25 years in my adopted county Kerry. I followed brief careers with IFG Mortgage Bureau in Cork and Killarney. I set up my own independent auctioneering company in 1996.

I decided from the start not to link up with any of the Auctioneering Franchises. I believed being independent allowed and enabled me to give the best possible service to both buyers and sellers in the property space.

My Partner

In 2002 I married a local Killarney girl Elaine O Shea. Now, we are the proud parents of three boys aged 12, 9 and 7.

My wife is also involved in the business. She is currently responsible for office administration and systems managing.

I now have over 20 years of experience in the property sector. Representing both buyers and seller’s pre-Celtic Tiger times, during Celtic Tiger times. The turbulent aftershocks and now with ever increasing prices and little stock available.

Lastly, I am a member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV). Therefore, I constantly ensure that I live up to and abide by their Code of Conduct.
