History

Originally from the “rebel county” having been born and reared in Ballineen

Co Cork I have spent the last 25 years in my adopted county Kerry and following brief careers with IFG Mortgage Bureau in Cork and Killarney I set up my own independent auctioneering company in 1996.

I decided from the start not to link up with any of the Auctioneering Franchises as I believed being independent allowed and enabled me to give the best possible service to both buyers and sellers in the property space.

In 2002 I married a local Killarney girl Elaine O Shea and we are the proud parents of three boys aged 12, 9 and 7.

My wife is also involved in the business and she is responsible mainly for office admin and systems manager.

I now have over 20 years of experience in the property sector representing both buyers and seller’s pre-Celtic Tiger times, during Celtic Tiger times, the turbulent aftershocks and now with ever increasing prices and little stock available.

I am a member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and constantly ensure that I live up to and abide by their Code of Conduct.
